Accepted Article Types

The AIEJ accepts a broad range of articles not limited to any particular discipline or type. We ask that articles focus on an aspect, subfield, or extension of AI with consideration of its salient ethical features. We anticipate most submissions will fall into the following standard categories: Research Papers, Review Articles, Letters to the Editor, Editorials, Book Reviews, and Foresight Papers. Submissions should abide by 6th Edition APA standards. However, your submission need not fall into one of these categories to be eligible for publication.

Please note that all published works in the AIEJ are:

• Published in English
• Fully peer
• Immediately free to access and download from the AI Ethics Journal website at org.
• Permitted re-use defined by the Creative Commons user license CC BY 0.
• Published with Crossref and CrossMark® to maintain the publication

While we expect and recommend that most articles submitted to the AIEJ should fall under 6,000 words, there is no word limit on the articles that we will consider at initial review. We leave manuscript length to the discretion of the authors, but the AIEJ reserves the right to recommend changes to accepted submissions throughout the initial and peer reviews.
